A Revolution in Motion

One of the hardest problems that new businesses face is that they can’t fathom the role motion pictures play in their business, beyond sales. We live in a dynamic system, world up with humans with short attention spans, and there are a bunch of businesses out there competing for the same level of attention you’re looking for to sell your product.

Videos put you in the edge where you can say a lot in a short time frame.

A picture speaks a thousand words, while a video speaks a million, and more. Gone are the days where you have to raise a huge budget for a commercial with no promise of ROI (Returns On Investment). What businesses need to stay relevant, build brand loyalty and sell which is the ultimate goal, is to create a series of engaging content like filler videos, explainer videos, etc, to help build a tribe/ community they sell to.

Story telling

Brands need to tell better stories, and one of the best ways to tell stories is through motion videos.

Everyone is a storyteller at heart. Some of us develop an outlet to express our thoughts. Some of us don’t. It doesn’t really matter if we express it or not but some stories just find their way out in the world. Every incident is a story. Every experience is a narrative. And we drive these conversations, effortlessly. Don’t we?

Every incident is a story. Every experience is a narrative.

A Nike ad

Let’s study Nike for example.

Over time through Nike communication style in their active participation in topical issues that relate with humans, they have been able to position themselves as a brand that has a better understanding of human needs and are out there to solve them.

It’s all well and good sitting down one day saying ‘Okay, let’s write this story’ but have you got everything you need around you prepared so you can write the best story possible? When the story is finished, you’ll be able to use your brand story everywhere — that’s e-books, website, emails, videos, while networking, speeches, sales calls, business plans, everywhere.

I hope you enjoyed reading the post.

We will be writing more about motion design. It would be interesting to hear your side of the story, how you proceed while creating for your business.
